A custom-engineered high-temperature ceramic socket (E27) developed for an industrial-lighting OEM customer whose fixtures operate continuously in high-heat environments.
Customer Challenge
The existing socket deformed and became brittle after long exposure to high temperatures, causing contact failure and safety risks in the customer’s industrial luminaires.
Our Solution
COLSHINE optimized the ceramic formula and structural ribs, upgraded the copper contact with a nickel-plated spring design, and ran thermal-cycling and high-voltage tests to validate a 10,000-hour service life.
